Position Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our marketing department and provide creative ideas to help achieve our goals. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies.
As a marketing intern, you will collaborate with our marketing and advertising team in all stages of marketing campaigns. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand, and maintain our marketing channels.
This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies.
You will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities
- Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
- Perform market analysis and research on competition
- Support the team in daily administrative tasks
- Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail, and web)
- Prepare promotional presentations
- Help distribute marketing materials
- Manage and update the company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
- Help organize marketing events and participate in outreach tasks/events.
Requirements
- Startup Interest: Strong work ethic and conviction to work in a demanding startup environment.
- Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, content management systems, and analytics tools
- Creative thinker with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficiency in graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and video editing software (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Davinci Resolve)
- Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. MS Office, CRM tools, Online analytics, and Google Adwords)
- Must be enrolled in a related BS or Masters degree at an accredited college/university.
Compensation
$10-$20 / hr depending on location, previous work experience, and qualifications.
Minimum Hours
40 hours/week.
Important Notes
- This is a temporary position between January and April.
- We are only considering US citizens and Permanent Residents for the role.
