UI/UX Designer - Founding Team Member at Meetsta

Job Description: We are seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team at Meetsta. In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and engaging user interfaces that provide a seamless experience for our users. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to translate user needs and business goals into compelling digital experiences.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative UI/UX solutions that align with Meetsta’s brand and user experience strategy.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Design user interfaces for web and mobile applications with a focus on usability, accessibility, and visual appeal.
• Conduct user research, gather feedback, and iterate on designs to ensure they meet user needs and enhance user satisfaction.
• Develop prototypes and conduct usability testing to validate design concepts and refine user experiences.
• Work with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design, and apply them to your work.
• Advocate for the user by consistently delivering a user-centered design approach in all projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in creating user-centered designs, including wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch.
• Solid understanding of design principles, including color theory, typography, and layout.
• Experience with user research methods and usability testing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end development is a plus.
• Experience in designing for social networking or mobile-first platforms is a plus.
